The game takes place in a fantasy world powered by a mysterious life energy called Energi. In Alphadia I, players follow the hero Ash and his companions as they battle the Schwarzschild Empire, which threatens to plunge the world into war once again. The story focuses on friendship, betrayal, and the struggle to control the powerful Energi source.

Alphadia II continues the story centuries later when the world faces a new crisis as Energi begins to fade. A hero named Enah forms the Energi Guild to protect the world and investigate the mysterious changes affecting life energy. Both games feature classic turn-based combat, character development, and a deep fantasy storyline. Choices and progress from the first game influence events in the second, and completing both titles can unlock a special true ending.
