Back in Service: a Metro Driver is a first-person train simulation and adventure game that puts you in the driver’s seat of the historic Prague metro system. Released in January 2025 and developed by Dominik Vojta, this Indie title lets you operate classic metro trains, manage passenger routes, and explore the underground world from within iconic subway tunnels.

Unlike typical train simulators, the game blends realistic driving controls with adventure elements — you can leave the cab on foot to explore stations and dark passages, interact with colleagues, or take on extra tasks. Completing routes on time earns you in-game currency to spend on items, and future updates aim to add more stations, trains, and missions as the game evolves in early access.

The game supports Mac (macOS 10.15 and later) as well as Windows and Linux, with universal processor support for both Intel and Apple Silicon. Player feedback is largely very positive, praising the immersive simulation and freedom to choose how you play.
