BioMenace Remastered is a modernized re-release of the classic 1993 2D action run-and-gun platformer originally developed by James Norwood and published by Apogee Software. The remaster, created by Rigel Gameworks, brings enhanced visuals, widescreen support, smooth 60 FPS movement, a modern HUD/UI, and quality-of-life upgrades like mid-level saves, quicksaving, and rebalanced difficulty. It includes the original three episodes (over 36 levels) plus a brand-new fourth episode with additional levels, bosses, music, and mechanics. Players control CIA operative Snake Logan as he battles mutants, rescues hostages, discovers secrets, and confronts the evil Dr. Mangle. The game also offers achievements, leaderboards, controller and Steam Deck support, and a built-in level editor, blending nostalgic charm with modern enhancements.
