Dungeon Town is a quirky indie dungeon‑crawling RPG adventure developed by Circle Meimitei and published by Kagura Games. The story begins in the peaceful Famos Village, which is thrown into chaos when a cave connected to the demon world suddenly opens and monsters begin to terrorize the townsfolk. You play as an experienced adventurer who originally set out to defeat the source of this evil, but was defeated, losing both your powers and memories. Stripped back to level 1, you must venture into randomly generated dungeons, battle dangerous creatures, gather better gear, and uncover the mysteries of the demon world in order to regain your strength and save the village.
Along the way, you’ll take on quests from villagers, upgrade your equipment, and even recruit townspeople with useful skills to join you on your quest. Combat is deep for an indie title, with different weapon types, resistances, and the occasional chance to negotiate with intelligent monsters instead of simply fighting. The world also features a large cast of characters — from barmaids to priestesses — each with their own personality and sidequests, making Dungeon Town more than just a typical crawl through endless corridors.
