Football Manager 26 (FM26) is the flagship management simulation from Sports Interactive that puts you in complete control of a football club’s destiny — from tactics and transfers to training, finances, and match-day decisions. FM26 marks the series’ first shift to the Unity game engine, delivering enhanced visuals, smoother animations, richer stadium atmosphere, and a reimagined interface that brings modern polish to the legendary franchise.

A major new addition this year is the full integration of women’s football, with 14 playable leagues across 11 nations included alongside men’s competitions in one shared football world. The tactical system has also evolved with distinct “In Possession” and “Out of Possession” formations, giving managers more control and realism in how their side behaves during different phases of play.

FM26 is officially supported on macOS, meaning Mac players can enjoy the full managerial experience natively alongside Windows and consoles. While some users have reported performance and UI issues on certain Macs early after launch, patches and updates are in progress to improve stability.
