Hybrid Wars is a futuristic top-down action shooter developed by Extreme Developers and published by WG Labs, released for Windows in September 2016. Set in the year 2060, the game puts you in the boots of mercenary fighters battling across open battlezones on behalf of powerful corporations in a world teetering on the edge of conflict. Inspired by classic ’90s shooters, Hybrid Wars mixes fast-paced combat with modern visuals and design, offering solo and cooperative campaigns alongside multiplayer modes.

Players can choose from several playable heroes, each with their own abilities and combat style, and command a diverse arsenal of war machines including tanks, assault mechs, helicopters and other heavy weapons to complete objectives and survive against hostile forces. The missions span eight large war zones with over 150 distinct objectives and more than 50 enemy types, ranging from automated drones to massive bosses.

Tactical freedom and chaotic battles define the experience, with players able to switch vehicles mid-mission and adapt their loadouts to the battlefield.
