The gameplay loop is a tense game of cat-and-mouse. You must track your targets through crowded districts, wait for them to enter a secluded spot, and execute them before disappearing into the shadows. Bodies must be hidden in sewers or dumped in rivers to avoid raising the “Cop Count,” which permanently increases the police presence for the remainder of your run.

With its lo-fi pixel art and a focus on emergent gameplay, Metrocide is a “hardcore” arcade experience where the goal isn’t just to kill, but to survive long enough to earn enough credits to buy a one-way ticket out of the city’s metallic hell.
