Parkitect is a beloved theme park construction and management simulator playable on Mac (macOS 10.13+), Windows, and Linux, developed and published by Texel Raptor. It’s inspired by classic tycoon games but expands the formula with modern features, deep strategy, and cooperative play. In Parkitect you design, build, and run your own amusement park — from custom roller coasters and attractions to resource logistics, staff management, and guest satisfaction. The game features a challenging campaign with 26 unique scenarios as well as a sandbox mode where you’re free to create without limits. Online and local cooperative play for up to 8 players lets friends build a park together and share creativity. Support for mods and the Steam Workshop means you can import user-created rides, scenery and scenarios to expand your park even further.

Technically Parkitect runs on many Macs but performance varies by hardware — newer Macs especially with Apple Silicon benefit from better stability and optional experimental native builds. The game continues to be updated with new tools and DLC like Parkitect – Dinos & Dynasties, adding even more themes and decorative content.
