Wetlands is a futuristic point-and-click adventure game released in 1995 for PC. Developed by New World Computing, the game is set in a dystopian 21st century where rising sea levels have submerged much of the Earth. Players take on the role of John Cole, an undercover agent investigating corporate corruption and environmental conspiracy in a flooded world.

The story unfolds through cinematic full-motion video (FMV) sequences featuring live actors, a popular style during the mid-1990s. Players explore various locations, interact with characters, collect clues, and solve inventory-based puzzles to progress. Dialogue choices and investigative decisions shape how the narrative develops, adding depth to the experience.
