VenusBlood HOLLOW International is a dark-fantasy strategy RPG combined with visual novel storytelling developed by Ninetail and Dualtail. The game places players in the war-torn land of Helvetia, where humans now live under the rule of powerful demon queens known as the Dark Lords. You play as Leonhardt Arknoah, a legendary war hero and commander of a secret imperial task force tasked with expanding the empire and conquering rival territories.
The gameplay blends strategic army management with story-driven choices. Players recruit units, organize squads, manage resources, and lead battles across a strategic map. The game introduces a “Battalion Battle” system where up to three squads—each containing six units—fight simultaneously, creating large-scale tactical battles.
Another important aspect of the game is customization. Units can be trained, equipped, assigned special titles, and combined in unique squads with different abilities and affinities. Strategic positioning on the world map also matters, allowing players to defend chokepoints or launch aggressive attacks on enemy bases.
